    There are about 4,500+ best Engineering colleges in India. Out of which, 3,601 colleges are privately owned, 707 colleges are owned by public/government organisations and the rest are 53 colleges are owned by public-private entities. JEE Main is the most accepted entrance exam in top Engineering colleges in India. Some of the top Engineering colleges in India are IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, NIT Trichy, Jadavpur University, and many more.
