How many Exams do I have to attend if I want to apply for both COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E Exam?

You will be attending one exam only. Previously these exams were being conducted as 2 separate exams. COMEDK UGET was conducted as an offline entrance exam in Karnataka. Uni-GAUGE E was being done as an online entrance across India. On the scheduled day, these two exams will be conducted on the "Same Day" during the "Same Session" and as "One Combined Exam". This will reduce the need for students to prepare and attend multiple exams.

To apply for the Uni-GAUGE E Exam (Unified Graduate Aptitude Test - Engineering) and the COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Undergraduate Entrance Test), you have to take two separate exams. While COMEDK UGET is managed by COMEDK for admission to engineering courses in participating colleges in Karnataka, the Uni-GAUGE E Exam is administered by the ERA Foundation for admission to engineering courses at several universities and colleges throughout India. When two or more students secure equal marks then tie-breaking rule is used. In the COMEDK tie-breaking rule are:
- Priority is given to the student with a higher percentile in Physics and Mathematics
- Second preference is given to the student with a higher percentile in Mathematics
- Even if the tie exists, a student with a higher percentile in Chemistry is preferred.
- Finally, the preference will be given to the age. The older candidate will be the priority.
Any candidate with at least 1 mark in the COMEDK UGET exam will be allotted a rank in the exam. Only those who obtain 0 marks will not be given any rank.
