How many Exams do I have to attend if I want to apply for both COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E Exam?

    You will be attending one exam only. Previously these exams were being conducted as 2 separate exams. COMEDK UGET was conducted as an offline entrance exam in Karnataka. Uni-GAUGE E was being done as an online entrance across India. On the scheduled day, these two exams will be conducted on the "Same Day" during the "Same Session" and as "One Combined Exam". This will reduce the need for students to prepare and attend multiple exams.

    To apply for the Uni-GAUGE E Exam (Unified Graduate Aptitude Test - Engineering) and the COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Undergraduate Entrance Test), you have to take two separate exams. While COMEDK UGET is managed by COMEDK for admission to engineering courses in participating colleges in Karnataka, the Uni-GAUGE E Exam is administered by the ERA Foundation for admission to engineering courses at several universities and colleges throughout India.     You must appear in two different tests if you wish to apply for the COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Undergraduate Entrance Test) and the Uni-GAUGE E Exam (Unified Graduate Aptitude Test - Engineering). While the Uni-GAUGE E Exam is administered by the ERA Foundation for admission to engineering courses at numerous universities and colleges throughout India, COMEDK UGET is administered by COMEDK for admission to engineering courses in participating colleges in Karnataka.

Yes, if you belong to the General category under the All India quota, then a rank of 40000 can get u admission to various courses at REVA University in the last round, as the closing ranks were in the ranges of 44001 to 100240 for this category. Please keep in mind that these cutoff ranges are of the last round General category, other rounds, categories will have different cutoffs accordingly.

The REVA University COMEDK UGET Cutoff 2025 is out for admission to the BE/BTech programmes for all categories and rounds under the All India and Home State quota. For the General AI category, the closing cutoff ranged from 100240 to 44001 in the last round, wherein B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering was the easiest course for admission and B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), the hardest. 

Students should keep in mind that the cutoff will vary for each category, quota and round.

The authority will announce the COMEDK UGET 2026 topper along with the declaration of results. The candidate who obtains the highest marks in the test becomes the COMEDK topper.

When two or more students secure equal marks then tie-breaking rule is used. In the COMEDK tie-breaking rule are:

  • Priority is given to the student with a higher percentile in Physics and Mathematics
  • Second preference is given to the student with a higher percentile in Mathematics
  • Even if the tie exists, a student with a higher percentile in Chemistry is preferred.
  • Finally, the preference will be given to the age. The older candidate will be the priority.

Any candidate with at least 1 mark in the COMEDK UGET exam will be allotted a rank in the exam. Only those who obtain 0 marks will not be given any rank.
