How many exams do I need to take in NIOS?

Pass and Certification Criteria 1- Course: Secondary Course Pass Criteria: A minimum of 33 percent marks in the aggregate (Theory and Practicals both are applicable) in the public examination. Certification Criteria: Pass in 5 subjects including at least one but not more than two languages 2- Course: Senior Secondary Course Pass Criteria: A minimum of 33 percent marks (separately in theory and Practicals in subjects having both and also in aggregate) in the public examination. Certification Criteria: Pass in 5 subjects including at least one but not more than two languages. Five subjects with either one or two languages from Group A and the remaining subjects from Group B, C, D, E, and F (only one subject from each group C, D, E, and F).
