For MBBS 2023, Uttar Pradesh has 9153 fewer seats than Maharashtra has. These seats are split between 31 private medical colleges, which each hold a portion of 4850 MBBS seats, and 35 UP government medical colleges, which each possess 4,303 MBBS seats.
