How many hours should I spend for JEE Mains preparation?

Hours allotted for each subject should depend on your interest in that subject and time taken by you to understand concepts. Normally, subject that we like, we understand immediately. I feel, 4 to 6 hours of dedicated study each day is enough. -
JEE Mains is a competitive exam. You need to work hard and smart for it. I would suggest you to make all your basic concepts clear and make them rigid. You can be thorough with your NCERT books. If these things are done, then half of your preparation is complete. Now, to add some extra effort, you need to practice the problems and also collect the previous year question with solution, so that you understand and analyse the pattern and methods.
Now coming to subjects, you know your strengths better. So, work more on those where you feel you are weak and the areas/subjects in which you already have a grip, you can revise them. You can go...more
