How many Indian students are in Ireland?

<p>Per Business Standard, the number of Indian students in Ireland has reached a total of almost <strong>9,000 students</strong>, in 2023/24, from the <strong>7,000 students</strong> that were pursuing higher education in 2022/23.&nbsp;</p><p>India has now become the country with the highest number of international students on Irish soil, surpassing USA in the process.</p><p>The rise in the number of Indian students is down to several factors, as listed below:</p><ul><li><strong>Easier Immigration Policy</strong> than the USA, UK &amp; Australia</li><li><strong>Cheaper</strong> cost of studies &amp; living than the UK</li><li>Better availabilty of <strong>part-time jobs</strong></li><li>Presence of world class colleges &amp; universities&nbsp;</li><li>Presence of top for-profit &amp; non-profit organizations&nbsp;</li></ul>
