    Three specialisations of the BTech course are available from Assam University. The first 75% of seats for BTech admission at Assam University are determined by the candidate's JEE Main result. A university-level admission test is used to fill the remaining 25% of seats. The applicant's performance in a university-conducted entrance test determines if they are eligible for a lateral entry admission to the BTech curriculum.

    If you are from other state then for CSE branch then aprox marks you would required a min of 100 i, e 91 percentile. And if you from home state then you would required a min mark of 85-90 marks i, e 88 percentile.

    Class 12 from a recognised board in Science stream with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST candidates)

    Note: Lateral entry BTech programme is available in CSE and ECE streams. Students who have done a three-yearDiplomacourse in Engineering are eligible to apply.
