<p>Your score and rank in JEE Mains will determine the chances of you getting into the college. Also, only your rank in JEE Mains is going to decide the branch you will be alloted. There are total 9 engeneering branches in the university out of which 1 is headed by College Of Basic Sciences and Humanities (Biotechnology Engg)while the rest are under the College of Technology.&nbsp;</p><p>For branches like Computer and Information Technology, you really need to score good. Especially for general category students the closing rank is about under 40-50k. And for branches like electrical and electronics and communication engineering your rank must be around 90k. And for the rest branches like mechanical, industrial and production Engg, agricultural and civil engineering lower ranks under 3 Lacs may be considered.</p><p>Hope this helps.</p>
