Candidates must have passed their class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognised board of education's. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% overall in the qualifying exam. Candidates who fall under the SC/ST categories are given a mark relaxation to 40%. They also require a valid JEE score, which depends upon the cutoff for the particular year.
