<p>To get admission in IIIT Trichy for Ph.D. in English, a candidates must hold a First Class Bachelor or First Class Master degree in the appropriate field of Science or humanities <strong> (Mathematics/&nbsp;</strong><strong>Physics</strong><strong>/&nbsp;</strong><strong>Economics</strong><strong>&nbsp;/&nbsp;</strong><strong>English</strong><strong>)</strong>, with a minimum of 60% overall (CGPA 6.5/10) in undergrad or graduation school for candidates in the OC/OBC category and 55% overall or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for candidates in the SC/ST category.<br>To be eligible for a fellowship, a full-time candidate must have a valid UGC/CSIR/NET/GATE score.</p>
