The marks in CS in IIT Kanpur depends on the difficulty of the paper. Rank under 200 for B.Tech CS is considered in top IITs and around 300 marks.

The closing and opening rank for general students at IIT Kanpur is around 100 to 200. So if you are a general student then you should have a rank below 200.

Hello Rohit, The total marks of JEE Mains are fixed while the marks of JEE Advanced is unpredictable. So, I may say with respect to the ranks in JEE Advanced. CSE is a top and demanded course at IITs and so your rank should be at least below 2500 to get a seat at IIT, Kanpur.
