    For a general student, it should have minimum 250+ marks for securing a seat in CS branch. All the best.

    NITK Suratkal. Other State: Rank - 2940, Home State: Rank - 5173, candidate must have passed 10+2 in relevant field with minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent in the qualifying examination form any recognized board, must have minimum 1440 score in SAT (candidate should have a minimum total valid score of 1440 in SAT Subject Tests for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry). NIT Trichy. Marks in XII - 40%
    JEE Mains score - 60%
    Admission is based on score obtained in SAT through DASA scheme for Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/ Non-Resident Indians/Overseas Citizen candidates.

    since nit trichy is one of the best nit s, getting admission requires good marks in jee .for nit trichy some 210+ marks can get you there an admission.

    It depends on the performance of the student and difficulty level of the entrance exam. But if you have more than 270 marks it can be said as safe zone for getting top NITs.
