How many marks do I need to score in JEE Mains? I am interested in studying in NIT, Trichy. I am pursuing 11th from State board school.

    You have to score 250+ in JEE Mains to be on the safer side to get your desired branch. The score can differ according to the branch you need and your category.

    See it totally depend on the cutoff of that year. But since NIT Trichy is in one of the best NITs so you have to score upto 220-270 marks to get a good branch in that college.

    You should get around 220 marks in JEE Mains. Rank will go upto round 5000.
