How many marks in % required in graduation for IIM Ahemdabad. How I start prepration for CAT2011 after compliting my graduation. If i want to start with basics of subjects so witch basic book is useful for me.Acturlly my base is not enough for TEST.

Get syllabus for cat which does not appear very difficult after graduation but you need to do a lot of practice. so attempt as many papers as you can practice previous year paper, model and test papers also IIM Ahemdabad take toppers only and % is not fixed but if you aim IIM so study hard

Although, the eligibility to sit for IIMs CAT is 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University, but as IIMs keeps on changing its eligibility criteria, the higher percentage you get the better it would be. As far as starting of your CAT preparation is concerned, I would say that the

Hi Subhash, Min requirement is 50% and there is 5% relaxation for SC, BC. But it would be better if u have higher than 75% that will help u in clearing PI as total score is calculated in the last. Regarding preparation, it would be better if u will join some institute like TIME, CL, IMS as they will

just from eligibility point of view you should have 50 percent, but from conversion point of view, it should be above 80, though instances are there where people with just 50 got through, but the number is very less.
