Aligarh Muslim University offers a wide variety of courses. For M.A. Economics:
1) Eligibilty criteria:B.A. with at least 55% marks in aggregate and not less than 55% marks in Economics.ORB.Sc. with at least 55% marks in aggregate and not less than 60% marks in Mathematics / Statistics.ORB. Com. with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

A Bachelor's degree (most probably BA(Hons) ) or equivalent from the university, in any course, with a minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale(for general) & 45% marks or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale (for SC/ST/PD candidates) is necessary for getting admission in any post-graduation course.
