    There are about 8 top Medical colleges in Mangalore. Of these, 3 colleges are privately owned. NEET is the only accepting entrance exam in the top MBBS colleges in Mangalore. Some of the popular colleges include Kasturba Medical College, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Yenepoya (Deemed to be university), Father Mullers Medical College, A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Srinivas Institute of Medical Research Centre, GR Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, and many others.
