According to the Dental Council of India (DCI), there are a total of 7,357 MDS seats across 276 approved dental colleges in India for 2025-26. Of these, 200 private dental colleges offer 5,267 seats, 42 government dental colleges offer 977 seats, and 34 deemed universities offer 1,113 seats. While
