Students at the Secondary level need to take a minimum of 5 subjects. This should include at least one language and no more than 2 languages. They can take a maximum of 7 subjects.  The minimum pass percentage for the NIOS 10th is 33. To clear NIOS 10th class, students need to clear a minimum of five subjects, with at least one language from Group A and the remaining three or four subjects from Group B.
