    Hi there.
There is no golden rule through which you can make out the time it takes for preparation. Some people may do in a month or some may not be able to do even after year-long preparation. It depends on your hard work as well as smart work.

CLAT (Common Law Entrance Exam) is becoming tougher day by day and you have to put in a lot of efforts to crack CLAT and get into a good NLU (national law school). 5-6 months are enough for a student who works smartly towards the preparation and sometimes even 2 years are not enough for people to crack such exams. As they are competitive exams, it depends upon how you study, what strategies you follow. Dedication, seriousness and quality study matter in CLAT rather than quantity study. I don't think the time can be measured in days, months or year. Just focus on your studies and work smartly, you will definitely get through these exams
