    In India, there are more than 500 top Music colleges. Of them, 164 are privately held, 221 are owned by public/government institutions, and 85 are owned by public-private entities. Based on their Class 12 grades, students can get admitted. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Delhi University, Amity University Noida, Banaras Hindu University, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, University of Mumbai, Parul University, Christ University, UNIPUNE - Savitribai Phule Pune University, Rabindra Bharati University, and numerous other universities are among the well-known top music colleges in India.
