How many numbers are needed to qualify UGC NET?

Hello Srikanta, National Eligibility Test (NET) is a national level exam meant for scrutinizing the expert of the knowledge required for holding the position of Lecturers/professors/ associates/ research fellows at India's reputed universities. Earlier CBSE conducted the NET exam, but from December 2018 it is conducted by the National Testing Agency. UGC NET exam is conducted in approximately 81 subjects. To qualify the UGC NET exam, you have to crack NET exam which is divided into two parts I. e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. You have to score minimum marks in UGC NET which are as follow - General Category Candidates 40 marks or 40% in Paper-I, 80 marks or 40% in Paper-II. Reserved Category Candidates 35 marks or 35% in Paper-I, 70 marks or 35% in Paper-II. Apart from that each subject has their separate cut-offs. Candidates need to achieve that target to qualify for the exam.
