    Law, government entity has to give equal opportunity to each and every student. Because of this, normally speaking, you will find no Public Sector Unit coming for placements in any of the colleges. Many of the PSU's have now taken the safe route of asking candidates to appear for GATE and based on the score in GATE they are called for interview round.

    On a serious note, PSUs has stopped driving placement session in DTU. Now, if you want to join any of the PSUs, you need to crack gate exam.

    Public sector units (PSU's) are government owned companies. By law, government entity has to give equal opportunity to each and every student. Because of this, normally speaking, you will find no Public Sector Unit coming for placements in any of the colleges. Many of the PSU's have now taken the safe route of asking candidates to appear for GATE and based on the score in GATE they are called for interview round. This is how majority of the PSU's these days are selecting their candidates. In fact even the TCS, the top most IT company of India is also following this route since last year or so.
