How many questions are asked from grammar in CLAT?

You will see contextual sentence completions. You will also see sentence-improvement, pronoun reference, parallelism and meaning-based questions. All come inside English Language passages.

Find the true subject in each sentence. Practise meaning-based and parallelism questions daily. Revise common mistakes often. Reading English newspapers also helps.

Wren and Martin's High School English Grammar and Composition is a common choice for basics. Norman Lewis's Word Power Made Easy helps with vocabulary. Use both with regular practice sets.

Start early. Study grammar along with comprehension and vocabulary. Strong basics make later questions easier to solve.

CLAT does not test grammar as its own section. But grammar skills help you read passages well. You should not skip grammar practice fully.
