UGC NET Paper-1 consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying 2 marks. The total marks for Paper-1 are 100. The questions in Paper-1 are designed to test the teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.
