How many rounds are there in JEE Counseling 2023?

<p>As per the latest notification from the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), there will be total of 6 rounds for JEE counseling in 2023 through which seat allocation will be done at various NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs:</p><p>&nbsp; 1<span style="text-decoration: underline;">. Round :-&nbsp; </span>This will be the first round of counseling based on JEE Main ranks.</p><p>2.<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>&nbsp; Round : </em></span>- This is the second round of seat allocation. Students can change choices submitted earlier.</p><p>3. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Round 3-</em></span> : Students who couldn't get a seat allotted in first two rounds are eligible for this third round.</p><p>4.<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> Round 4:-</em></span>&nbsp; Another chance given to students to obtain seat allocation if they couldn't earlier.&nbsp;</p><p>5<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>. Round 5:-&nbsp;</em></span> One more mop-up round conducted after round 4 before final vacant seat filling.</p><p>6.<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> Round 6: -</em></span> The sixth and final round of counseling to allot any last vacant seats left unfilled in the participating institutes.&nbsp;</p><p>Additionally, two preparatory mock rounds will be conducted before the counseling starts for students to get familiar with the web portal and process.</p><p>So in 2023, candidates will have six rounds spanning over 3-4 months time from June to September to seek JEE counseling and admission confirmation.</p>
