    Depending on the particular conducting authority, the UGET (Undergraduate Engineering Test) may consist of fewer or more rounds. The usual structure for counselling is three rounds, with a mop-up round in between. The primary round, called Round 1, is when seats are assigned to students with high ranks according to their preferences and seat availability.

Many companies come to this University for placements. Some of the examples are Tech Mahindra, Cisco, Newtronics, Epsilon, TCS. All specialisations have good placement opportunities and there are openings for students from all specifications that they can attend. The University has a well organised and proactive placement support. One disadvantage is that the University offers very less placements for B.Tech in civil engineering.
