How many stages are there in the FTII JET exam?

<p style="text-align: justify;">As per the official notification, candidates seeking admission into FTII, Pune and SRFTI, Kolkata will have to go through the following process:</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Step 1: JET Entrance Exam</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The first step is the FTII JET exam for which candidates will have to appear in it after receiving their admit cards and qualify it. The written test will be conducted for 2 papers and the time duration will be of three hours. The test will be conducted in offline (pen and paper test) mode. The question paper will be into two parts &ndash; MCQ (multiple-choice questions) and Descriptive.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Step 2: Audition (for screen Acting) Orientation and Interview</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Candidates qualifying in the written test will be further shortlisted for Audition (only for Screen Acting), Orientation and Interview.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Step 3: Result declaration</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> (For all other courses except Screen Acting) final joint merit list of FTII &amp; SRFTI will be published. For screen acting, the performance of audition will also be analysed.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">After joint merit lists, preferences will be obtained from the shortlisted candidates. They will be selected to a particular course in FTII &amp; SRFTI. Counselling may be carried-out offline in Pune/Mumbai/ Kolkata or online.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Step 4: Undergo the medical test</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Selected candidates will be required to undergo Medical Test as per the selection criteria of both institutes.</p>
