How many students of general category cross the JEE Mains cut-off?
Around 12 lakh students appear for JEE Mains exam every year.

This statistics is perhaps not available. However, last year out of 12 lakh students who appeared for JEE Mains, about 1.5 lakhs were above cutoff announced. In fact, cut off is announced keeping in mind the seat availability in IITs vis-a-vis number of students to be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced.
