    The number of subjects in the KARTET (Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam varies depending on the paper that the candidate chooses to appear for. KARTET Paper 1 consists of 5 subjects, namely: 1. Child Development and Pedagogy 2. Language-1  3. Language-2 4. Mathematics 5. Environmental Studies KARTET Paper 2 consists of 5 subjects, namely: 1. Child Development and Pedagogy 2. Language-1 3. Language-2 4. Mathematics and Science 5. Social Studies/Social Science.
