How many subjects can one choose for humanities in 11th? And which subjects are mandatory and which are optional?

Hi, I am currently studying in class 10 and I want to do humanities in 11th. I want to know that how many total subjects are there? And after my 12th, I want to do mass communication. So, which subjects would be beneficial?

Shruti, You can take minimum 5 subjects in 12th and maximum 8, But 8 is too much of pressure. Try to stick with 6 to keep it as a backup. 1 subject as a mandate will be English. You can take Political Science, History and Hindi (good for mass communication). All the best.
