How many subjects do I need to take in 11th?

How many subjects do I need to take in 11th if I want to opt for science stream? Also, I am planning to take up medical stream after it, can I study with bio and chemistry subjects only?

Hi. It depends on your capability. If you want to pursue medical phy che and bio are compulsory subjects. However for extra subs. You can take. Maths/eco/physical edu/hindi/eng etc.
