How many Teulgu people are studying in LPU? How to travel to LPU from Hyderabad?

Lovely Professional University is known for its cultural richness apart from quality education. Well people might try to condemn me if I say that there are more than 60 percent students of LPU are from South India, but that is the actual fact. Most of the students are from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but there are people from Kerala and Tamil Nadu aswell. Inside LPU, it is almost a home like feeling for South Indians. Of course there are North Indians aswell. Both people nicely mingle with each other. As a student of LPU I can say it is the best place where you can find a lot of cultural exchanges and unity of the students even though they are from various parts of the country There are many students from Andhra Pradesh in LPU. You can find good crowd mix of girls and boys from Andhra Pradesh. I too have many batch mates, who were from A P. The diversity that LPU entails is unbeatable and incomparable from any other university in India as the university holds more than 3000 international students, coming to the campus from 70+ nations. LPU is not only the largest university in the country but also the university with the most diverse student population. There are students from different countries and states with their different traditions and cultures. Every student at Lovely Professional University is blessed to get an exposure to a variety of culture and tradition that aids in the overall societal growth of students. We always get to explore ourselves and love to share our culture with others and are also curious to know about their culture. With 2000+ international students in the LPU campus, the environment is rich not only in the level of learning but also demonstrates India's international relations with other nations. The best ways as follows: BY TRAIN: you can reach phagwara (Punjab) or Jalandhar cantt ( Punjab)station from Hyderabad. There are lot of trains available for this route and from there you can take cab or auto they will drop you to the main GATE or hostels of LPU at very reasonable price Both stations have almost same distance to LPU CAMPUS. JALANDHAR CITY STATION IS QUITE FAR from lpu campus almost 25 kms. BY AIR: You can take flight to AMRITSAR airport ( Punjab) which is the nearest airport as compared to others. From there you take cab to LPU CAMPUS. Ypu will reach in almost 2 hours from Amritsar airport to LPU CAMPUS.

From accommodating 25,000+ students, LPU has encompassed exemplary facilities within its campus which is second to None and at presently a great career in the field of placements, study abroad, and entrepreneurship has become a hub at LPU. LPU believes in delivering quality, for the same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted by the company officials of Cognizant, SAP, Microsoft, etc. To provide an updated curriculum. LPU has its own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on a satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. In terms of placements, more than 700 companies visit every year for campus recruitment of students from LPU. Dear Sai Kiran, Well, being a locality of Jalandhar city I can say LPU is not less than a Mini World in the state of Punjab, India. LPU is the largest university in India with the belief of more than 35,000 students. LPU is known as one of the safest campuses in the world. LPU houses students from Punjab as well as of other all states and over 50 countries (including Telangana)of the world promoting culturally inclusive behavior and activities. It focuses on thinking big and thus achieving big. It gives opportunities to all students and faculty members to grow in their domains and reach the highest levels. It is one of the most diverse universities I have seen and has people of different cultures share the values together as one big family. LPU-Lovely Professional University respect and welcome students coming from different cultures and backgrounds which makes this university environment dynamic and unique in its own way. If it is about Telugu people, more than 35% of the boys are Telugu and 25% girls are Telugu. Also, there are ample students from south India, so it is very difficult for a south Indian to feel isolated here. Moreover, there are many trains from Phagwara (15 minute from campus) and Jalandhar Cantt (20 minutes from campus). People also take flight from Delhi (5 hours from campus).

Dear Kiran, It is difficult to tell you this way that how many students but yes there are a lot of students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana who are doing various courses in LPU. As for coming from Hyderabad to LPU you can take a flight for Amritsar and from there you can take a bus for Phagwara or take a train from Hyderabad for Delhi and from there you can take a train for Jalandhar or Phagwara.
