There is no restrictions on number of attempts in NET examination. This examination is conducted by UGC, twice in a year and you can apply for both the examination. The examination is conducted in June and December every year.

    Hello Chanikya,
According to the NET exam guidelines, there is no restriction on a number of attempts. But if you want to apply for the UGC NET JRF exam then your age must not exceed 30 years. Till that, you can apply as many time as you want. But if you appear for Assistant Professor then there in no age limit criteria. You can check out the complete details related to the UGC NET exam from - https://examsroot.wordpress.com/2018/09/11/nta-ugc-net-2018-know-all-about-the-exam/
