How many times can I appear for the GATE exam?

<p>There is no *restriction* in number of attemps that you can make during the GATE exam (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). However, you can do so only if you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned.&nbsp;</p><p>The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a nationwide entrance exam conducted every year for Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech, Ph.D.) and recruitment into Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).</p><p>Key Information:<br>Conducting Authority: IITs and IISc rotatable.<br>Eligibility: Degree in Bachelor's Engineering/Technology/Architecture or Master's in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computation Applications<br>Pattern of Examination:<br>Time Duration-3 hours.<br>Total Marks-100.<br>Discipline-29 subjects on offer.<br>Type of Questions-MCQs, MSQs and NATs (Numerical Answer Type).<br>Validity-3 years GATE score.<br>It is open to both Indian and foreign nationals and does not impose any upper age limit or limit in number of tries on students.</p>
