Each stage (tier-I, II) of the SSC CGL exam is conducted once a year. The year 2022 was the exception because SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted twice in a calendar year. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2021 was conducted from April 11 to 21 and SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2022 was conducted till December 13. SSC CGL is a premiere exam of the Commission and it takes around one year to complete the exam process. Recently, the Staff Selection Commission SSC has released the SSC CGL 2023 notification on April 3, 2023 and it is expected that the exam process will be over by February-March 2024.

The SSC CGL test is administered in stages I and II once a year. Due to the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam being held twice in a calendar year, 2022 was an exception. The SSC CGL Tier 1 test for 2022 was held until December 13, whereas the exam for 2021 took place from April 11 to April 21. The SSC CGL 2024 application status will be made available on the regional websites around twenty days prior to the exam date. Through the National Recruitment Agency (NRA), the Union government may announce plans to hold the exam. The NRA CET exam will be the name of this test. The Common Eligibility Test is referred to as CET (CET).
