Each stage (tier-I, II) of the SSC CGL exam is conducted once a year. The year 2022 was the exception because SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted twice in a calendar year. The SSC CGL test is administered in stages I and II once a year. Due to the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam being held twice in a calendar year, 2022 was an exception. The SSC CGL exam is conducted once a year. The Staff Selection Commission releases a notification annually announcing the exam dates and application window. The exam itself is conducted in multiple tiers spread over a few months.
