Since the CA Foundation exam is conducted twice in a year the registration process continues throughout the year. However, candidates must note that to appear in May/ June or November/ December session, they must register on or before January 1/ July 1 of the same year respectively.

CA exams are held in over 150 cities across India and in 8 overseas locations – Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kampala, Kathmandu, Kuwait and Muscat. Candidates can choose their preferred test cities while filling the CA exam application form. If they wish to change the test city preference, they can do so only when the form correction window is open.

CA foundation exam has replaced the CA-CPT exam and now is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) twice a year. Once they are conducted in May and secondary their conducted in November, these two atoms of CA examinations are commonly known as may and November attempts. After the CA Foundation exam, students need to complete the Intermediate and Final levels as well to become a chartered accountant.

Chartered Accountant exams and registrations for all levels are held twice a year. The exam is held twice a year in June and November. Students get to become a Chartered Accountant after clearing all the 3 levels of CA Exams. CA Exams for CA Foundation take place twice a year. CA Foundation Entrance Exam takes place during the months of May and November. CA Intermediate Exam takes place in the month of December and takes place once a year.
