Hi,
There are about 9 top Engineering colleges in West Bengal. Of these, 5 colleges are owned by the government, and 5 colleges are privately owned. Some of the popular colleges include IIT Kharagpur, Jadavpur University, etc.
Admission to these colleges will be based on merit or through an entrance
