Among India's top Engineering colleges are 23 IITs, 31 NITs, and 25 IIITs. About 100+ engineering colleges are owned by the government, while 170+ colleges are privately owned and 2 colleges are owned by semi-government institutions. JEE Main and JEE Advanced are the top entrance exams for admission
