    In India, there are 10 universities with ABET-accredited engineering programs. These include Chandigarh University, Bharath University, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Kalasalingam University, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Mody University of Science and Technology, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University (Mumbai Campus), and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology.
