First of all you have to complete your graduation in a good branch like physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, biomedical, microbiology etc. After graduation as per your satisfied course, you can apply for M.Sc, then Ph.D, then you will appoint as junior scientists then you become senior scient

It takes around 10 -15 years to become a scientist including graduation, Masters and then your Ph.D.
