How many years of teaching experience is required to get admission in B.Ed through distance.

There is no specific experience criteria for B.Ed distance course offered by IGNOU. A person who is employed as a teacher in an elementary school or elementary stage of education can go for it. Trained teacher means a person who has completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. Further, it is not mandatory to produce an employment Certificate if a candidate is not applying as an in-service elementary teacher. However, for in-service teachers, employment certificates from recognised schools will be considered. Hence, for in-service teachers no length of experience is necessary for distance B.Ed from IGNOU.
