Hi Sagnik, you first need 50% in graduation to be eligible for PUMBA.
Also, scores of all different national exams required to get into PUMBA is around 97 percentile.

You should have at least 97 percentile in CAT to get admission as OMS candidate. But you can give the MAH- MBA-CET too for getting admission in PUMBA which is easier than CAT.
They don't consider the Xth and XIIth percentage but you should have at least 50% in graduation which is the eligibility criteria for getting admission in MBA. If you have any doubt comment below.

All India examinations scores are generally taken at a cutoff of above 97 percentile. You should be scoring not less than 50% in graduation.
  • You should score above 97% in CAT. 10th, 12th and Graduation marks are required to fulfill your eligibility criteria for CAT examination.

The minimum eligibility criteria of is 50% (45% for reserved category) in graduation is required for admission in PUMBA. For Maharashtra candidates, students have to qualify MH-CET exam. For Outside Maharashtra candidates (OMS), students can apply through CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/MH-CET. For CAT, the cut-off is more than 99 percentile. All the best!

Hello Sagnik, thanks for the A2A.
Actually, for admission purpose, we have 2 categories in Pumba one is MS which takes CET scores and other is OMS candidates which take CAT, MAT or national entrance score. It's actually really difficult to get on basis of National entrance score so I would really advise you to appear for Maharashtra CET as well. Coming back to your query, it's 99 percentile for General and somewhat 98 to 98.50 for others. Very stringent competition as Pumba is the topmost management institution. Infact even through the normal MHCET entrance, you will need 98+ percentile. So please work hard in next 2.5 months and get a

With a 300 SC category rank in CAT, your chances for NIT Trichy MBA are relatively high. Based on 2025 data, NIT Trichy generally shortlists SC candidates with CAT percentiles around 60-65. To achieve a 300 rank under SC category, you would need about a 65-70 percentile, or a score of roughly 60-65 marks out of 198 in CAT 2025, depending on difficulty and normalization process. Final selection is also based on interview, academics, and work experience. Yes, you are fairly within touch, but I would encourage you to have a solid overall profile as well to increase your chances of admission.

JIIT CDOE MBA on the other hand, is offered based on the minimum aggregate of graduation.  However, for the final admission, candidates must meet the cutoff rank or score and must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as CAT.
