    Getting a job after CSE is a big dream for many students. But placements follow rules. First of all, students must meet all eligibility. No active backlog is allowed. Most companies ask for a CGPA above 7 or 7.5 to sit in their drive. Few top firms even prefer 8 CGPA and more. If a student is already placed, they cannot sit again. Students should also have no suspensions or fines, and regular in activities like DCPD sessions. Along with CGPA, credit score and attendance are also checked.

    When it comes to placements in CSE, marks alone never decide everything. Still, CGPA has a basic role. Most companies ask for a minimum 7 CGPA. Some keep it 7.5 or 8 for high packages. Below that, chances get limited. So, keeping a CGPA above 7.5 is always better.

    But rules are not just about marks. No backlog is allowed. Attendance in DCPD sessions is checked. Students must be active in extra activities also. If one is already placed, then second chance is not given. After eligibility, the real test begins. Online test checks aptitude and coding. Then technical interview goes deep in knowledge.
