In DU, admissions are done on the basis of Best Four Subjects' Marks or BFS Marks. BFS is calculated by choosing best three marks of your subjects of 10+2 and including English/Hindi.

Now, admission in Maths (H) in DU depends upon your category and the college you wish to go for. The following are minimum required Best four Subject Marks Percentage required to take clear cutoff, the lowest observed.
    North Campus Colleges:
    General: 94%
    OBC: 92.5%
    SC: 88%
    ST: 85%
    South campus Colleges:
    General: 90%
    OBC: 86.5%
    SC: 84%
    ST: 82%
