How much do I need to score for MBA? Will my score be considered as I will be writing XAT & am a 3rd-year student of mechanical graduation?

    You have wrote that you are in third year of graduation in mechanical engineering, which means you still have one more year. I am confused how you became eligible for XAT? But if you are in 4th year, you should score above 60 percentile, but they usually admit students through MAT exam, which is easier than XAT. But next MAT is on February 2017 but PSG might finish its selection before that.

    It's not about how much. Since you are writing XAT let me tell you XAT score is considered by almost 99% colleges across India and yes it will be considered. One can take these entrances during final yes of college studies
    To make it to Xavier's you need to score anything above 75% + a very good score in GD PI

    TANCET cutoff mark for MBA in PSGIM is 54 approx. for BC and 58 approx. for OC. For XAT minimum 60%. Yes you can write as the score is valid for 1 year.
