How much do I need to score in CAT exam to get admission for MBA?

Different IIMs give different weightage to the CAT score. However for a general category candidate, it is almost imperative to get 97.5+ just to secure a call.

Hi Sanket,
It depends on which colleges you are targeting. THe percentiles range from 100 to 80 for various colleges. As a rule of thumb you should target above 97-98 percentile to get into a decent IIM of your choice. But this is just an entry step. Your profile also matters a lot and how you present yourself. SO start preparing.
