For NIT Hamirpur, the opening/closing ranks for JEE Mains 2016 for OBC category and Other State were 2008/2845, 2026/3478 and 2334/3694 for rounds 1, 4 and 6 respectively. So we can assume that a rank of 2500 is needed for admission into the college. You should atleast look to score 250 in JEE Mains to have a chance of getting a rank like this, and look to score in the top percentile of your board exams.
