I scored 256 and it fetched me an all India rank of 808 in B.Arch. (at that time it was AIEEE). I got a seat and already completed my B.Arch. from School of Planning and Architecture. However, to be precise to your query I must say every year it depends on the marks scored by all the candidates and the cut off marks as based on the formula used to calculate it. Caste reservations also help those who need it. Anything above 250 for general candidates with rank not more than 900-1000 will guarantee you a seat in one of the top colleges and for OBC/ST/SC candidates, a rank of 2000-4000 will be enough. It varies from one college to another. Although, some universities conduct their own entrance test and give admission on the basis of marks scored in that test. Some of the top colleges offering B.Arch are Lovely Professional University, BHU, J.J School of architecture, CEPT University etc.

In NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture), you need to score anywhere between 140 to160 for securing a seat in top schools of architecture in India. You also need to have a good score (90% and above) in your class 12th.
