    I am not sure I understood your question correctly. If you want to understand CAT cutoff, it varies for different institutes, different categories and different background. For example an engineering male graduate from general category at IIM Ahmedabad would have to secure 99.5% percentile to merit an interview call. Whereas for a female commerce graduate it might be around 97 percentile. In short, you should give your best and secure as much marks as you can. Higher marks usually gives you an advantage during interview. All other things are externalities that you can not control.

    For general category you must have at least secured 99 percentile then you will have to go for Gdpi and it kills brother
