If you want to become a cardiologist then you must complete MBBS degree followed by a Residency Program in internal medicine and a cardiology fellowship programme. The duration to become a cardiologist in India typically takes around 10 to 12 years which includes MBBS degree 5.5 years to MD/DNB general medicine 3 years.
